The Panama hat was made famous during the building of the Panama Canal when it was worn for protection from the sun. Today we are even more aware of the harmful effects of the suns rays and the Panama hat produces the classic English solution.
The folding Panama always has a ridge down the centre of the crown. To fold firstly turn the brim down, gently fold along the ridge and roll from one side to the other, and put into a tube if required. Never leave folded for long period of time.
